OUR CHRISTIAN COUNSELORS, THERAPISTS AND PASTORAL COUNSELORS

Our counselors come from diverse cultural and faith backgrounds; they are highly qualified, well educated, experienced and caring with Doctoral and Masters level training. Most of us have been through deep suffering and as a result understand the struggles of the Christian life. Our clients come from diverse faith and cultural backgrounds. Our counseling practice is multicultural and can meet the needs of clients. We have bilingual culturally competent counselors who speak Spanish, French, understand Portuguese and other languages. Our diverse counselors are competent to understand the individual’s struggles from a cultural perspective with sensitivity. Bilingual Spanish Speaking Christian Counselors: We specialize in culturally competent counseling for the Latino community. Our Latino Christian counselors and Spanish speaking counselors assess and develop treatment plans that are culturally specific to foster the psycho-spiritual growth of the individual. The success of our practice depends absolutely on the loving grace of God, faith in His word, prayer, fasting and absolute dependency on The Holy Spirit, The Counselor who comes alongside with us on this journey towards healing and restoration for the individual, marriage, family and church body.

STEPHANANIE QUIROGA Clinical Social Work/Therapist, MSW, LCSW, LCADC

In our fast-paced world, it is easy to feel stressed, lonely and confused. The question then becomes how do I navigate through these emotions and who can I trust to help me process my fears, doubts and deep secrets without judgement? With that in mind, it is my objective that every patient will walk into my room and know that they have someone that will listen, connect, empathize and encourage growth. As a licensed clinical social worker, I use an eclectic approach while treating depression, anxiety, substance abuse, low self-esteem, grief, stress and relationship conflict.

My experience spans from working in an outpatient psychiatric unit to a partial care program, working with individuals who suffer from mood disorders and substance abuse. Currently, I work in a NCI treatment facility with cancer patients. I am certified in supervising LSW’s for their clinical hours.

I am fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese and embrace all cultural backgrounds. My belief is that everyone has the strength to change and possesses the key to solving his or her problems. I want to be a therapist that conjures your inner strength and confidence and I look forward in guiding you through this journey of reflection and acceptance.
